3rd Phase of CML Future Talent Experience Program: Junior Internship Experience Workshop
The third phase of the CML Future Talent Experience Program: Junior Internship Experience Workshop, has successfully come to an end. Upholding our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ESG development, CML hosted this program with great enthusiasm. Around 23 students, ranging from elementary to high school, participated in a half-day career experience led by dedicated CML employees, making it a memorable summer for the students.
During the summer vacation of 2024, students from 加利利之光樂學陪讀班-愛鄰田中關懷中心(Light of Galilee Fun and Learning Accompanying Class-Ai Lin Tianzhong Center Attention Center) are invited to participate in the Workshop on July 12th.
With "Passion Drives" as our core value, CML has been embedding our brand value into people's hearts through this program, while implementing ESG concepts to bring diverse vitality into society. Adhering to the philosophy that "Enthusiasm catalyzes dreams and inspires people to create value; energy promotes industry and drives continuous progress in the world," CML puts corporate social responsibility into action through this initiative.
By combining our resources, CML provides children with enjoyable and educational learning activities. "Big dreams start with small steps." This small experiential program serves as an opportunity to inspire students to think and explore, marking the beginning of their future achievements!
Introduction
Chairman of CML, Martin Chen, shared his extensive knowledge about hydraulics with the students, explaining how they work with oil in an easy-to-understand way. He also introduced them to the local industry in Tianzhong Township, where CML's headquarters are located. Beyond what they learn in school, Mr. Chen shared his personal experiences and passion for machines, inspiring the students to delve deeper into their learning.
About CML
Lucy Wu, the program coordinator and deputy manager, led students on a journey to discover how CML combines its philosophy with product manufacturing. By sharing interesting case studies, Ms. Wu encouraged students to contemplate their future careers in the industry and gain a profound appreciation for CML's core values.
Marketing Workshop
CML took students on an engaging journey through the world of marketing, starting with the familiar concept of advertising. The program demonstrated how marketing can be applied to various aspects, from visual design and content creation to event planning. In the latter half of the course, we conducted a hands-on product photography experience, prompting participants to consider how visual communication can be used to achieve specific goals.
Engineer Workshop
Through engaging experiments, fun games, and lively storytelling, students learned how engineers apply scientific principles to design and create. They also experienced the design thinking of engineers through a LEGO railway track game.
Pump Workshop
Ever wondered how pumps are made? In this program, participants had the unique opportunity to get hands-on with variable vane pumps. They assembled the pumps themselves, observed their internal structures, and learned that every step required great care and patience. From assembly to packaging, they realized that each process was crucial for the product. In the final part, participants even got to test the pumps they assembled, gaining a deeper understanding of the manufacturing process. (🚩 Production line work involves more than just assembling products; subsequent testing and packaging are also essential to maintain product quality.)
